General Nursing and Midwifery [GNM]

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

GNM course is General Nursing and Midwifery. The course can be pursued after successful completion of PUC / PDC / 10+2 or equivalent examination in any degree. Some institutes even require science subjects. The course duration is 3 years which is followed by a 6 months internship program. The program has been designed to enable eligible candidates to address the health needs of the country, community, and individuals. They can also pursue advanced study and specialization in nursing while contributing to the health-based industry with patience, responsibility, and dedication.

Approved by : Karnataka Nursing Council & Indian Nursing Council, affiliated to Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board and recognized by Government of Karnataka.
Course Duration: 3 Years
Total intake of seats : 60

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

10 + 2 Class passed or its equivalent with aggregate of 40% marks.
Age limit: 17-35 years and for a certified ANM Personnel, no age limit
Commencement of Session : September/ October
